What is it like to live in Chicago? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

When you live in Chicago you meet on a daily basis multiple cultures. You meet a lot of people, everyone is welcoming and friendly. I would of course recommend Chicago, there's always something to do. The city is beautiful, the architecture is unique the downtown is modern, when moving outwards the building structures change to a more chic look.

What is the student lifestyle like in Chicago?

The student lifestyle is always moving. Everyone wants to party, and you find a lot of interesting people around Chicago, Halsted is a interesting place. There are has a lot of underground events from party's, concerts, and art showings.

How much does it cost to live in Chicago?

The downtown is the most expensive, the tax goes up the more closer you are in the city. The city is in Cook County district which is the are if high taxing, DuPage has a more lower but that district is more a suburban localization. The prices are very good to buy things, you can always find things that are affordable.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Chicago? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation would be easy, I can't give a good sense of information since Chicago is my home area but there is good real estate there.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is delicious. We are known for the best pizza in the U. S. A known to be called the deep dish pizza. It's basically a pie, but a pizza. We have a world famous restaurant dedicated to creating it, it was on a show that showed the best restaurants in the U. S. A. There is also the hot dogs, we have a Polish hot dog that is famous. We have many cultures that bring a lot of food at is delicious and just speechless to express. My favorite is of course the deep dish pizza, the vegetarian opinion.

What places would you recommend visiting in Chicago?

We have the most beautiful museums, like the art, and science. We have our famous Bean statue. And we have a new park finally finish a year or two ago. We have a lot of amazing clubs for the night life as well as underground (secret) ones.

Is it good to eat out in Chicago? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

We have amazing food in the city! I love the Cheesecake Factory, Texas De Brazil.

Is the nightlife good in Chicago? Where is good to go?

We have amazing nightlife experiences. When summer rolls around it's just breathtaking. The festivals, clubs, parties, bars, and of course North Avenue beach parties. You will find a good experience no matter where you are.

What advice would you give future students heading to Chicago?

You need to be open to new things, don't be afraid to say "yes". You will learn a lot about people, the city. The whole city is a remarkable place to be and you will not regret it.
