What is the student lifestyle like in Bursa?

It is cheap. Also we have metro so you can travel most of the Bursa by metro (but I have to warn you metro isn't go underground. While you are travelling you are having a little sightseeing).

How much does it cost to live in Bursa?

It isn't expensive. You can afford your needs with a little money. With 300 euros you can afford your accommodation and your social life easily.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bursa? Is there any advice you can give?

It is really easy to find good places with a little money. Görükle is a student area which you can find the cheapest flats. Also Uludag University is in Görükle. So you can go to school easily.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Bursa has an amazing cuisine.

You have to taste :

  • Iskender Kebab
  • Köfteli pide (Pita de almôndega)

    Is it good to eat out in Bursa? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

    There is a avenue which name is Fatih Suldan Mehmet. There are lots of coffee shops where you can drink whatever you want. Now there is a new place : PodyumPark (Near to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Avenue). You can go there to eat.

    Is the nightlife good in Bursa? Where is good to go?

    Actually Bursa isn't a party city like Istanbul but there are lots of good, fancy places where you can sit and drink your beer.

    What advice would you give future students heading to Bursa?

    I am sure you will have fun but also Istanbul is just 2 hours from Bursa by ferry. So you can easily go Istanbul whenever you want. Have fun.
