What is it like to live in Bursa? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Bursa is really advantageous in terms of places to visit. In addition to being a crowded city, it is a historical city with many activities up to the corona.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bursa?

Especially university students hang out in Görükle campus. As cafes, restaurants and markets are intertwined, it is exactly for students. In addition, since our university is surrounded by greenery, it is possible to see students lying on the grass.

How much does it cost to live in Bursa?

If you are a student, you can spend between 600-700 TL in the mid-level market, go to the cafe once or twice a week, and visit the city if you are staying in the state dormitory. Prices vary if you stay in private dormitories. If you are staying at home, it can even exceed 1000 TL depending on how many people stay.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bursa? Is there any advice you can give?

State and private dormitories are the best accommodation options for students. Your expenses will not be too much. But you can also reduce your expenses by renting a house with 3-4 people.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food of Bursa is very good. I strongly recommend you to eat Iskender. In addition,tahanli pide and chestnut sugar are unique to Bursa.

Misi köyü, Cumalıkızık, Gölyazı, Mudanya, Tirilye, Tophane-Saat Kulesi, Uludağ

Is it good to eat out in Bursa? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Absolutely good!You can eat Iskender at Marmara Lokantası in Osmangazi. For dessert Zeugma Künefe at Özlüce/Nilüfer.

Is the nightlife good in Bursa? Where is good to go?

Görükle is good for nightlife. There is the zone of young people.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bursa?

Discover the city with travelling. Just travel. You'll love Bursa when you finished.
