What is it like to live in Bursa? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

People are nice and very good industrial city. There are some very big factories if you are an engineer then you can find some opportunities.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bursa?

Student life is like stucked one place. This make it very easy. In one spot you can east, party, play game, socialize around the Bursa Uludag University where you live.

How much does it cost to live in Bursa?

It is very easy for European students. Min 450 Euro will be enough included accomodation. But it depends where you live and how many people live in the apartment. Only thing bad about Bursa alcohol is expensive. But it might not be expensive for European students.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bursa? Is there any advice you can give?

Bursa is my hometown. So, I don't know. But I don't think it is hard. You can reach everything from the internet. Except students, too many people who are in working life look for some friends to share the house. Because as I said Bursa is an industrial city, too many young people live here to work, that is why look someone to share the apartment.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Foods are amazing! There is a special kebap for Bursa called "Iskender kebap". You should try it, highky recommended!

Is it good to eat out in Bursa? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is always good to eat out in Turkey. It might be difficult to go, it is ieasy if you have a car. If you like meat you should go "Uzan Et" and try "Lokum". You will love the meat!

Is the nightlife good in Bursa? Where is good to go?

There are some place in "Gorukle", around Uludag University and there is a place called "Podyum Park" a little bit far from there. People mostly go there to have fun. Some bars, small clubs and cafes.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bursa?

Have fun as much as you can do and make some connection with the people, It is your choice to make the place lovely!
