Turks' Another City,Kardzhali

Hello Everyone!

I will mention about Kardzhali (Кърджали) which is a city has high population of Turkish people.Most of the people who live in Thrace,in Turkey,came from Bulgaria.As an example,my grandparents were born in Kardzhali and lived there until 5.Most of people I know,have this situation.But some people prefered to live in Bulgaria and wanted to be a citizen of Bulgaria instead of Turkey (like some of my relatives) ,have the majority in Kardzhali than Bulgarians.

I've been in Bulgaria twice.First one was in 2016,I went there from Komotini,which is a border city in Greece.We used Makaza Border but there was a heavy traffic.I supposed that it was because of the religious holiday of Muslims,so some Turkish people trying to go to Bulgaria from Greece but now while I'm searching,I learned that there is always heavy traffic there and most of the passengers are Romanian.

Kardzhali has 150k population and about 90k people are Turkish.Mayor of this city is Turkish.Also in Bulgarian parliament,there are many Turkish deputies.

Second time for being here was in this winter.It wasn't a good choice to go to there in winter but I had to.It was really cold.Even being in a car with air condition,you still feel the cold.Also the first time I've been there in September,the nights were cold,I slept with quilt.

Here is city centre.You can find foreign branch,municipality and some law offices.Yeah there are many law offices which have Turkish lawyers because now,Turkish people have a chance to be a citizen of Bulgarian,also European Union.You can speak Turkish in streets and most of the people can understand.Also Bulgarians who live here know many Turkish words.You can find some Turkish foods,drinks,especially Turkish Coffee!

Oh! I forgot to say that Bulgaria is full of trees,so old Turkish people prefer to have a holiday there! (but youngs no) And there are many statues in Kardzhali,some poets,politicans etc.

Do you think that here is a ship? Yes,it's a ship but it's also a restaurant! It's called Emoha. It's a bit far from city centre,you should go there by car because the way from centre to restaurant is quite stony. Emoha has delicious fish soup! First,I scared to drink it because it would be my first time and I thought that it couldn't be delicious.But it was! If you go to there,you should drink! Because of winter,there were no people but my father said that here is really crowded in summer!
