Curiosities...

In this post I will include places to eat in Brighton and also a couple of the curiosities of Brighton which caught my attention.

In one of the main streets, surrounded by popular shops, you can find one of the shops with one of the oldest shop windows in the city, it's called Allsaints Spitalfields.

Although it is a fashion brand for men and women, the shop window will have an impression on you from afar since it is full of exclusively old sewing machines.

Many curious people stop to take photos of it and I am sure that many people do not associate it with a clothes shop.

Another curiosity: if you are a fan of the smurfs, wandering around you can find a wall with a painting of the smurf characters.

Also, by the area full of bars there is a restaurant that I was told about which is called The Black Lion, where you can eat very delicious and exquisite food.

Then, if you fancy, you can go to a small bar on a street near to St Peter's church.

This bar looks simple from the outside but as you go inside you will see the peculiar decorations that caught my attention because of it's wit: candles melted in glass bottles, many different stickers of the different drinks that they have (old or current) placed by the beams of the bar and in one of the corners, a small old bookstore, that has a special and cosy touch.

Also, the owner is super nice. When we were inside chatting a friend of the owner suddenly came in with a water gun and they started to play as if they were children, hiding behind the bar. A nice experience that reminded me of my childhood.

Overall, the people we met there were very friendly and nice to us.
