Concorde2

Having lived in the city for most of my life, I can share with you a venue renown in the city for it's brilliant atmosphere and music.... and it's out of the way compared to the usual tourist traps.

At the Concorde2, you can watch any type of act that takes your fancy, whether it's a punk band, a drum and bass DJ, a tribute act or an afterparty. Some of the best gigs I have ever been to have been hosted by the Concorde2 and I'm far from the only one who says that. Tucked away from Brighton's usual nightlife scene, you can't go wrong with a venture out here.

Huge, globally successful bands regularly do secret gigs here (recently the Foo Fighters did a low-key set) and because the venue is relatively small, and off the beaten path, expect high volume and a very personal experience! Brighton is home to Fatboy Slim, who does regular sets at the Concorde, a testimony to it's reputation.

Sometimes, door staff, being a freindly and good natured as they are, will let you in free - if you can beat them at a game of rock, paper scissors! The venue has two main rooms, equipped with bars that sell whatever you like to drink at fairly reasonable prices. The crowd is always good company, so if you lose your friends while raving/headbanging/dancing/partying, you'll always have someone to talk to (if you can hear each other).
