Where do I see myself in a year?

I have had many persons asking me : "Where do you see yourself in five years? ", and the answer was: "I have no idea, none". I am not twenty yet, I am still studying, I am always moving (I am soon starting my Erasmus), and in four months, I have to start an internship and I don't even have a company yet... I think this already summarizes my confusion. Five years is a long time to think, which is why I am reducing it to one year, only to answer to the feared question mentioned above.

During this year...

In one year, I will be on holidays, just like I am now, but with achieved goals, I hope. I will have completed my AP Degree in Denmark, which basically means I will be graduated, even though, I won't have a Bachelor (yet). I will also have finished my internship, which I hope will give me everything I am looking for. First : experience. I need it, I want to get my hands on everything to really find out what I love to do and in where I feel comfortable, for the rest of my life (or almost). Unfortunately, I am not like those guys who already know what they want to do since they are fifteen years old. I am still struggling because I actually wish I could do hundreds of things but I end up doing just the few I need to do, like studying and working to be able to pay for rent. The free time I have left I spend it by playing with my friends or going out. I am trying to learn Spanish a few minutes everyday on my phone, but that's all. Anyway, let's back to my internship, I hope it will open my eyes and maybe offer more opportunities in the future. My desire is to get it in the United States because I really want to go back. I have been there as a student, so being able to go back as an intern will give me a chance to gain skills and working experience abroad.

Prior to my internship, there is my Erasmus semester, which will actually start in less than a month. I hope it will prepare me and give me the basic knowledge, which I need to survive as an intern in a video production company. I will be taking film making classes, I hope my teachers will be kind and serious. I wish to find a group of friends with similar interests and discover England with them.

One year from now...

So, in a year, I may be back in Milan, with an Erasmus behind me and a new internship in the USA, which I hope will open doors for future opportunities. If I will be as confused as I am now, I am pretty sure that I will be taking a gap year : I will work, gain some experience, save some money, and maybe, continue studying. Otherwise, I will be taking a "Top Up Degree" to finish what I started last year, and finally, gain a Bachelor at the end of 2019, who knows. Or, I will find a way to go back to the States. I understand that it is hard to get a working visa, but I am trying to do some networking and many things, to finally get a permanent position.

Maybe not next year, maybe the year after, or even later, I am very determined to reach my goals. If they don't change, I am pretty sure that I will achieve them. But, I don't know how long it will take...
