Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Spain

I recently had the incredible opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+ youth exchange from January 11th to 18th, 2025, in Collado Mediano, Spain.

The project, Hearing, Feeling, Acting: In Search of Neurodevelopmental Change in Youth, was a deep dive into sensory exploration. Through interactive exercises, we experimented with hearing, smell, and movement—sometimes isolating one sense to heighten awareness of the others. We also unleashed our creativity by designing posters and logos while immersing ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings.

One of the most powerful aspects of this experience was the cultural exchange. Coming from six different countries, we shared traditions, tasted authentic dishes, and engaged in conversations that broadened my perspective on the world. It was fascinating to see how something as simple as a meal or a song could spark meaningful connections.

More than just a learning opportunity, this project was a reminder of how interconnected we all are. It reinforced the importance of stepping outside our comfort zones, embracing new experiences and truly engaging with the world through all our senses. The friendships I made and the lessons I learned will stay with me forever, and I am beyond grateful for this journey.
