A white Christmas? Not in Murcia!

It is more than a few days before the small return (the big return won't happen until the end of the year) for the Christmas holidays:a lot of projects in sight of course and also a lot of emotion as I am going to see my family and friends again whom I haven't seen for a long time.

I am especially happy to celebrate Christmas in Belgium because in Murcia there are very few decorations and no Christmas tree. Therefore you can't really feel the "magic of Christmas". Moreover, it is fifteen degrees, which is proof that it is far from being a "white Christmas". The only decorations that there are are largely concentrated on the main street as can be seen in this photo:

No Christmas market either like in Belgium, but all the same stands on the Alfonso Decimo Avenue. Like in this image:

But anyway, there's nothing like the hot wine of Belgium, the hot chips, the croustillons and Galler waffles that you can find at the Christmas market in Liège for example.

Similarly, few decorations in the houses. Sometimes attempts all the same but nobody would risk putting a real fir tree in their apartments or rooms. In the south of Spain, in the city, they tend to opt for one made of plastic. However their intentions are lovely and the Spanish there are always the first to offer gifts, chocolate, little presents. And this situation will also repeat itself soon for Epiphany in January.
