A movie for travelers
Based and inspired on a true story, "Into the wild" is a very touching movie about a young man who, instead of going to university, decided to to take a different path and to look for the wild, in search of adventure. Accompanied by several books, maps, a backpack and his knowledge, he started a journey all by himself to reach for Alaska.
Among his way he will discover great landscapes along with wonderful people by sharing happy moments. However his thirst to accomplish his final destination was stronger. Therefore it made him more decisive to keep going. After all, he continued all the steps needed until arriving into Alaska.
Once there, everything seems perfect like a dream. The feeling of freedom plus being comfortably, a place which allows to be your own aid for feeding and healing. For him it was same as a "home."
Nevertheless and after all, he realises that he cannot control nature, not even by being smart. Loneliness comes. Freedom starts to fade within the desire to share it. To be hugged. To feel safe... Despite being incredibly brilliant, no one will ever rule nature, because it is unruly and so we are only humans after all.
(Spoilers) When the flood came and let him stuck in Alaska, by the time he wanted to come back, the feeling of a home full of freedom and ecstasy faded away too.
The big lesson learned by Christopher and by all the public, as a personal reflexion surrounding life and what really matters, goes as deep and short as the following quote:
...Is quite poetic and philosophical!
Expending time watching a good film is priceless but finding an impressive movie as this one, so inspiring, filled with lessons impossible to miss. A must!!
