Fallas ON!! let`s go!! =) today all fallas are finally planted (plantà) and you should go out and visit them if you don't want to be squashed when everybody goes out.

I have been in the mascletà and now its time to relax and recover before having a completely "noche fallera": beers in "los cien montaditos" + live concert in the City of Arts and Sciences + fireworks+ verbenas (open air dance!?)!!

If you are thinking about going out tonigh in Valencia...the bests festivals are placed around Blasco Ibañez (falla Rubén Darío and Polo Peyrolon) http://maps.google.es/maps?hl=gl&tab=wl

And don't forget to go to the fireworks! at 12pm! =) you should go 30 mins before because it gets crowded. One good location to look it is the Alameda walk, near the Calatrava bridge, or the Sea bridge ("puente del Mar"). Conde Altea, Ciscar Street or Burriana are good places for dinner and really close to the riverbed, perfect to see the fireworks after some "tapas" :)

You can also go at 10pm to the City Hall Sq. to discover some tipical dancing and music from Valencia!! it could be funny!

PD: in Avenida de Aragón you can find another interesting plan...the ham festival!! good red wine, piano live music and jamón de Jabugo! I'm sure you will enjoy it!
