Tunis is the capital of Tunisia, a north african country where poeple can enjoy spending their summer time, their holidays with the most cheaper prices as one tunisian dinar cost tree times less than one euro, so european inhabitants can enjoy very cool sunny weather and cheap hotel options with the quality that they always wanted. In addition, Tunisia is the most near country to european countries like France, Italy or Spain so we can find most of the time big exchange of culture, historic heritage and civilizations.

1-Tradtional Souk

The traditional Souk called in tunisian dialect ''aswak" is the most authentic place of the city as it represents the traditional heritage translated in clothes, jewelry, all the things related to the preparation of the bride, dresses, fans, plates and even some vessels all decorated in traditional way and with multiple colours and very detailed decoration on the plates and on the clothes that are exposed in the different shops.

Also, the souvenir gifts can be very well offered to family members like the plates with camels where a professional artisan can do holes decorating it in special way with a name, a special word with multiple colours used. Located exactly in the continuation of Habib Bourguiba avenue and the colonial district left behind, enter the medina through the Porte de France, or Bab el Bahr. Beside the multiple souks that propose many great gifts for tourist, there is also mosques very typical of the city from inside, poeple can discover the main streets and discover a dreamed East, Songs of the malouf which is a traditional music where a whole team sings together beside the main singer like in a band, princely previous castles and architecture with sumptuous walls and ceramics, hammams which are the actual sauna and spa, The Minaret of the greatest Mosque inside of the center medina of Tunis is one of the most amazing in the whole Maghreb.

In the center of the medina, the Great Mosque, also known as Jemaa Zitouna which is an arabic name means the mosque of the Olive Tree, is home to treasures. The courtyard is open to visitors every morning except Friday. Tunis has at least a dozen of souks and organized around the Great Mosque where we can discover a variety of Perfumes, wools, fabrics, gold especially for new married couple, the red traditional hat: the luxury products are the closest to the mosque. If poeple want to know the fair price of a ceramic or a jewel, they can go first to visit the stores of the  city where they can find the real prices, they can even choose to melt the totality of the gold in the rig or in the bracelet to exchange it against money of a new piece of jewelry more modern.

2- visit to Sidi Bousaid

Sidi Bousaid is the most amazing city poeple can discover in the capital since it have a real landscape of a postcard with its palm tree centering the highest cafe peint in blue and in white exactly like the Greece. in the beginning of the city there is the Mediterranean garden, this space is occupied by a big garden, inaugurated recently and ressembles in many ways the jardim de aveiro. In this garden, there are many typically Mediterranean plants ... The path rises little by little and cross several terraces where fountains and benches have been developed. It is often nice to rest, under the sound of birds squealing in the trees. After a last series of steps, the path arrives on a large square. Many tourist  are installed there, the cafes, restaurants that the city offer  are  of very particular interest, the most famous sweet called bambalouni is also very prised by many poeple coming to the country from all the coutries of the world, also some photographers can offer these poeple to do photos with the most wild eagle but of course well dressed to immortalize the most admirable moments.

3- Discover Marsa and Safsaf

The touristic city Marsa is located in the same region as Sidi Bousaid, so any one visiting Sidi Bousaid is obliged to do a visit to the amazing coastal city, very famous for its splendid beach near the green mountain where poeple can enjoy this amazing view from the multiple cafes surrounding this area.

Personnaly i like very much a cafe located in the mall called Zaphir that is located exactly in front of the beach and offers the most amazing view as it is located in the last and highest floor of the building and where poeple can enjoy an amazing tunisian coffee while admiring the beautiful palm trees, the extraordinary cliff from the other side and the clear sea.

The city is considered by many Tunisians as the most chic city in the northern urban region of the capital, it has retained its suburban charm and remains a seaside resort popular within tourist or local tunisians. It is also very famous for its concert hall that hosted for years many singers called Kobet El Haoua, it was made previously for other purposes and become then a renovated restaurant and lounge very trendy.

Another very famous architectural castle is Essaâda Palace which means in arabic Palace of joy, is a tunisian palace built in the center of the touristic city. Architecture and ornamentation are a mix of many civizilations that ruled the country before. It now houses the headquarters of the municipality and where poeple marry in familiar atmosphere full of happiness and joy.

The other part of the city where is located the famous restaurant Safsaf also hosts the  cathedral of La Marsa with its wonderful aspect and beautiful architecture, this conserved church of La Marsa was the witness of many adventures during its history. The history of the city is very rich and anyone going to the city would never feel bored. I remember coming many times with my family to this great place where the mountains and the beach form together the most amazing landscape to discover ever.

The Zéphyr shopping center is not very far from the sea like two minutes from the terminus of the tunis marine station line of the suburban train, the Zephyr center is an amazing stop for shopping where poeple can find diversified style of clothes, very modern and in general european made with the most famous brands, and a set of international and local brands, perfumery, bookstore and a supermarket for all poeple's needs.

4- Goulette

The Goulette is the port of the northern region of the Tunisian capital and has been a place of strategic importance (controlling the entrance to the port) since always. it was the most important Spanish possession in the Eastern Maghreb then other civilizations enlarged it and strengthened the fortress built by Spain. We can reach it also by the metro of tunis marine that is only two minutes from the train of the north region. its divided in New Goulette, Old Goulette, and Goulette casino famous for its past casino that was built there ;The Goulette became then a famous port only during the colonisation, when the lake of Tunis settled down and could no longer take any ship, whatever their size. La Goulette has Spanish forts to explore and the old gate can also be dicovered (on the road to Tunis). If you only want to soak up the sea air, the coastal road (avenue Franklin Roosevelt) is a nice place to walk in La Goulette. Beyond the modern port, the long sandy beach is one of the best places in the city to spend an evening and relax on weekends. In the other hand, the Cathedral of Tunis is a very imposing and well conserved cathedral, the largest surviving building of the French colonial period in Tunisia its unique architecture, a bit Gothic and very beautiful style facade majestically presides over the northern end of Independence Square of avenue Habib Bourguiba. It was, at the time of its construction a monument that recalled the domination of France over the country. Inside the cathedral exist much more beautiful architecture,

5- Bardo Museum

Bardo Museum is also one of the most wonderful masterpiece built ever, as it tells the story of the time most memorable heros like Hannibal and Alyssa that dominated that period, The most astonishing and admirable characteristic is the mosaic that was used to sculpt the statues of such historical heros with the most detailed way. One of the most beautiful and largest collections of Roman mosaics in the world lies in this sumptuous palace of Tunis. Inside the museum, the different landcapes shows the differents halls that are reputed among the

richest and most unique examples of art mosaics that have been discovered in sites across all of Tunisia. There is also Sousse, and the theatre of Dougga that ressembles so much the emblematic monument that exist in Rome nowadays, these buidings impress the public with their particularly wonderful exhibits of this art form, but the entire collection is a treasure and is well worthy to visit and to see in an afternoon or a day also the price of entrance is very symbolic and can be considered for free especially for children. even the ground floor of the building includes mosaic that creates great landscapes. The visit to Bardo can be made either by taxi from the capital tunis that costs almost five dinars or by metro number 4 that allows to visit the city for hald one dinar. Also the city hosts the political parliament that made the city very famous, also by its fontain and large streets the city is very beautiful to visit inside the capital and shows another style and another way of living.

6-Tunisia Mall

Tunisia mall is a commercial center divided in two buildings Tunisia Mall 1 and Tunisia mall 2 that were constructed very recently in a place a bit deserted in the Lake where many buildings are beying constructed newly especially the various banks, commercial and juridic societies and a bunch of cafes near thar modern part of the capital. Poeple can also like so much this famous trendy part because it is like very fashionable among younger poeple that find it very luxurious comparing to the part of the capital which is more crowded and cafes are always full and incomfortable, so many poeple go to Tunisia Mall of the lake to have a new atmosphere very ressembling to european one.

Inside of the mall there is all sorts of shops offering especially the international trendy clothes offering multiple choices to buy many things, the parfume shops also on an international level and a wide space where poeple can have lunch together while admiring the fountain built in the outside of the building and that offers a magical show with many beautiful lights, red, green and white colours. On the other hand, a very famous gym was built in the commercial center that is even frequented by the most famous actors and actress in Tunisia as its very luxurious and have all the modern equippements needed for poeple to have the most amazing sport time with special coaches to advice everyone depending to its own needs on the sport machines to use, on the muscular mass and the weight he needs to loose with every machine, i personally liked so much my going there and the training offered there with professional coaches also the building is equipped by sauna, showers and places where ti put clothes separated for the girls and the boys. I must say that this kind of entrainement was only offered lately by the opening of this mall, Tunisia mall 2 have also the same aspects whith the most famous shops but with other types of retaurants and food, we can find the local tunisian food but also japanese or thai so the diversity is also a great option in this second mall but it does not contain a gym, it contains shops where poeple can do massages by a very special chair that is moving in very funny way exactly as someone is existing inside the chair and giving an amazing massage to poeple and its strong point also is that it is not expensive only 2 euros for a whole fifty minutes of real distress and relaxation, i advise anyone to try this amazing invention and it only exist inside malls for the tunisian capital or poeple can also find them in the Zaphir mall near the beach to enjoy an amazing and magical journey of pure relaxing sensations.
