About halogen oven

The introduction

Hello everyone, it’s a great day to start something new, so that I’m starting this new thing, well, it’s not that I’m starting it, it’s more like, I have  a new thing in my kitchen, which I’m going to use from now on, though I still haven’t prepared anything in it yet and I don’t really know how it works exactly, I mean, I haven’t tried it, though I know how it works theoretically. Well, this new thing is called a halogen oven and it’s pretty popular not only in Georgia, but in other countries, too, and many people just say that it has changed their lives and that it’s really comfortable and worth buying and stuff like that, you know. so that, that’s one of the reasons why I bought it, besides, my friend has it and she is really happy about it and says, that it’s really good thing, so that I went to this shop and bought this halogen oven.

Well, to be honest, I have been wanting to buy this halogen oven for a quite some time now and when I had this chance of getting it, we bought it right away. You know, there are different types of those halogen ovens and there are many of them from different companies and stuff like that and they offer you all those kinds of halogen ovens. So, there are some companies, which are imported in Georgia and the shops here have those halogen ovens from those companies and they pretty much include Franko, Ilitek, Euroluxand things like that. Well, I can say, that most of them are pretty much the same, however, there are some differences between them, too, of course, and people know those differences and that’s how they choose their products, let they be fans or vacuum cleaners or whatever.

Anyways, there are these discount websites, where you can register and buy things, that you want, I  mean, you buy a coupon and that is the discount and then you just go to that shop and get that thing for a discounted price. Well, that’s a pretty good thing, if you ask me, however, there are not always those things, that you want. And, well, you can’t always know whether the thing will be just the way you imagine it to be or not, because buying things online isn’t always the same as buying things in live or whatever you can call it. so that, you should remember that and consider that, because one can not just buy something online and anticipate that it can be just perfect or just how you imagine it.

So, there are these web pages that I know, which offer people some deals and offers and discounts and people just go there and look at things and choose some of them. You know, there are not only products like halogen ovens and fans and stuff like that, but there are also offers about hiring birthday party places, dentist offices and salons and fitness clubs and menus at cafes and clubs and things like that, so that if you want to know about some places and about some discounts, you can go online on those web pages and look for some things and buy them.

Well, there are these popular websites like deals.ge, hotsale.ge, brao.ge, swoop.ge and etc. they are pretty good ones, if you want to know the truth. And I have bought some things from them and I have been satisfied with all my purchases, so that I really recommend those web pagesto you. People usually buy coupons for café or club menus when they want to hang out or something like that. It’s a really good thing, because they know what the menu will cost them, besides, if they want to add something else, they can just add them and pay for them there, that’s not a problem. And usually friends who want to go out for a dinner or birthday party or something like that, buy those menus and go there together. We’ve tried some of them, if you want to know the truth and it was a really good idea, if you ask me.

About those halogen ovens

Well, it was this day at college when we were walking down to the bus station after the lectures and one of our friends started talking about diets and losing weight and things to eat at that time when trying to lose weight and then one of our friends told us about that halogen oven that she has at home and that she is pretty satisfied with it, so that she really recommended the halogen oven to us, because she could prepare some stuff, well, mainly chicken in it without any extra effort and it would be just great. Well, I was pretty intrigued with all that, because I use to prepare some chicken stuff, mostly chicken fillets and it usually gets all dried and stuff, you know, chicken fillets are just like that, so that it’s really good if you have something like that halogen oven to prepare some chicken fillets with it and be pleased with the result, because my friend told me that she was very satisfied with how it prepared chicken fillet, because that fillet stayed all moist inside and , at the same time, very well-cooked. So that, that was when I started thinking about buying a halogen oven for me, too. However, I still had to investigate some things about that halogen oven, of course, otherwise I wouldn’t buy it, because it’s not recommended to buy something without knowing exactly what you are buying, especially when it comes to food, you know, because there are some things, which you shouldn’t use with food, because they are bad for that purpose.

Well, to be honest, I spent some time looking for halogen ovens and stuff like that and which was better and which one was large and which was small and which one had many functions and other things. I was in many supermarkets for that reason, if you want to know the truth, so that I learned many things about where to see those halogen ovens and what were the prices in each supermarket and so on and so forth and mainly, the prices were 130-150 on average and it was kind of everywhere in those supermarkets, and they had all those same brands of halogen ovens, if you want to know the truth and there was not much variety of those halogen ovens , if you want to know the truth.

Anyways, once we were in that Carrefour supermarket and I saw this halogen oven they had on sale and I just wanted to show it to my father, so that I told him about it and we just went there and I showed it to him. Well, he said that we could get it at once and so that we asked some questions about the halogen oven to assistant and she told us some things and, well, we decided to buy this halogen oven, because it cost 150 or something like that and now it was on sale and for 99 Laris, so it was a pretty good discount and it had all those necessary things and accessories included, and the size was pretty good and we just bought it right away. It had these high rack, low rack, tongs, round pan, steamer, baking form, toast rack, sticks and those are pretty much for it, if you ask me, and I just liked that oven, and I just wanted to see how it worked.

Well,  then we got this paid for and went out to that place, where they do the checkings, I mean, you take your purchase to them and they open the box and check whether everything works well or not and they write the warranty papers and tell you some things about the usage and stuff like that. There were some people  before us there, and, it seemed that they were really excited about buying some stuff there, because, you know, there were these discounts on many other products , too , that day and people had some vacuum cleaners and blenders and stuff purchased and were waiting in a line to have them checked. Finally, we got our halogen oven checked, too, and then we went to the car to put it in and take it at home.

Using the halogen oven for the first time

Well, to be honest, I really wanted to see how this halogen oven would work, however, I couldn’t think of anything that we needed to prepare at that time so that we could see it working and that’s why we just washed those stuff that it had and put it into someplace safe.

Then, one day, we had this frozen beef in our fridge and we decided to prepare it and have some meat with stock, however, it was already late and we wanted to have it soon, but it was frozen and , you know, unfreezing something takes much time, so that it could be unfrozen in the morning or something like that. So that we decided to check our oven and let that piece of meat be unfrozen in this halogen oven. You know, it has this function, too, you can put the heat on Thaw Wash and that’s how you can unfreeze your food, so that we put this piece of meat on the high rack and turned the oven on and started it. it was some time that we had it turned on and it was kind of melting the meat, however, it was not melting it as fast as we wanted, so that I turned the heat even on 200 degrees Celsius , if you want to know the truth, so that it  would be high degrees in the oven and the meat would melt faster and that’s how it happened, of course, however, the meat slowly started to get cooked, too, and, well, I had this idea of cooking it in this oven, too, because it would cook this meat really well. I must say , that the piece of that meat itself was really large and it was really difficult to unfroze it because of that and that’s why it took so much time and, by that, I mean, half an hour or so, I guess, when while unfreezing that kind of meat piece would take a couple of hours and even leaving it overnight wouldn’t be enough some times, I guess. So that, it was  a great idea to unfreeze that beef steak in that halogen oven, because everything went just perfect and it was in a good shape after something about half an hour or so and then my father cut it into smaller pieces and washed them and put them into a saucepan and poured water in the saucepan and put it on a gas so that it would boil and be like a beef stock with meat. And, I can’t say whether it was because of the halogen oven or that cooking process, but the meat was really good inside, I mean, it was soft and moist and it was pleasure to eat it and ,  I think, it was partially thanks to the halogen oven and its ability to cook things very well and without drying them.
