Why Erasmusu stills in private beta?
As most of you may know Erasmusu is in private beta, which means that only people who have been invited can register into the site. Some of you are asking us why, so here you have answer.
Cokidoo is the (very) early startup behind Erasmusu and we are testing all the system with limited users (actually 600) before release it to the public for an obvious reason: We can't manage thousand of users with the current server, so we are polishing the system and upgrading it to get it ready to the big public.
Last days Iván and Emilio have been working in some improvements on the back-end of the page, and as you may notice some sections like Home and My Profile are now faster than ever. Meanwhile, Javier is starting to work on the PHP and MySQL part to work together with Iván in the future improvements of Erasmusu.
In the other hand, Adrián is working (and arguing with Javier a lot, lol!) in the redesign of the next version of the page that will be faster, more friendly useful and more cooler :)

@Juan en este caso el inglés es gallego... si encuentras algún fallito no dudes en avisar y lo corregimos de buen gusto :P
Siempre pensé que las invitaciones eran para el rollo viral "yo quiero ser guay y ser parte del último boom social" pero, honestamente, ya huelen...
@Martin La verdad es que evidentemente el rollo viral les ha funcionado a gente como Tuenti, pero en nuestro caso no creo que juegue mucho a nuestro favor. Hace escasos días (2 si no recuerdo mal) hemos tenido que ampliar el servidor, y hasta entonces habíamos acumulado unas cuantas peticiones para entrar porque nuestro sistema no soportaba mayor carga.
