Birmingham is an industrial city, I would not recommend it unless that you like traffic jams! It is cold and damp.

Birmingham is expensive, less than other cities in UK, but it still expensive! But you can find places that are kind of cheap.
How much does it cost to live in Birmingham?
The room is around £400 per month!
Take especial care if you are going to take a room by an agency, it is going to be more expensive and the pictures on the web are not the same with the reality.

It took me around 5 days to find a place, I have looked many rooms before take it! The price, the quality,...
Be careful with the agency and see the room before taking it!
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
There are many take away, so easy food is everywhere!
The "typical" dishes here is the famous fish and chips.
What places would you recommend visiting in Birmingham?
The city centre is nice, There is a church, many shopping centres, pedestrian streets and the canals.
Is it good to eat out in Birmingham? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
It is not the best food, but you can find easy food and cheap.
Is the nightlife good in Birmingham? Where is good to go?
It is crazy at night... Near the canals are many pubs and discos.
What advice would you give future students heading to Birmingham?
If they are coming on winter time, bring many clothes!
Look really well the room and conditions!
