I would recommend Birmingham because it has something for everyone. Museums, galleries, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, bowling, and all just a short ride away from a walk in the countryside
What is the student lifestyle like in Birmingham?
Student life is busy and fun! There are different nightclubs for all music types. In the student village of Selly Oak there are lots of handy supermarkets and shops nearby and students can easily travel into the centre if the city by train.
How much does it cost to live in Birmingham?
Housing costs are below average in the student area but eating out can be quite expensive
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Birmingham? Is there any advice you can give?
I have had good experiences finding houses. The property agents are very helpful.

You can't live in Birmingham without trying the famous balti!

All restaurants in the centre have something to offer. The restaurants in brindley place are upmarket and great position on the canal. Also china town has some great restaurants.
Is the nightlife good in Birmingham? Where is good to go?
Yes all the clubs on broad street are full of students.
What advice would you give future students heading to Birmingham?
Don't be put off by the city's reputation! It has more to offer than you think!
