It is an interesting place with lots to do. It is great living there as a student.

It depends which university you go to but in general the lifestyle is fun and exciting.
How much does it cost to live in Birmingham?
Student rent is generally between 400-600 pounds a month but you can find lots of different types of prices and accommodation.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Birmingham? Is there any advice you can give?
It is fairly easy to find accommodation in Birmingham. If you are a student, your university will have information on its website or you can go through student groups on facebook to find a room in a house.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
There are lots of different foods you can choose from when eating out or ordering a takeaway. My favourites are the burger restaurants such as bonehead and original patty men that you can either eat at or get a takeaway from.
What places would you recommend visiting in Birmingham?
Have a walk around the bullring as there are lots of good shops there. Digbeth is also a fun place to visit.
Is the nightlife good in Birmingham? Where is good to go?
There is good nightlife in Birmingham but I would recommend any student nights out such as the sports nights at the Guild for students at the University of Birmingham.
