What is it like to live in Birmingham? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Birmingham is like a smaller version of London. There is a good amount of things that you can do especially around the central area. The Bullring is amazing if you love to shop or grab a bite to eat. There is definitely a lot that you can do in that area. Prices are reasonable as well compared to London for instance.
What is the student lifestyle like in Birmingham?
Student lyfestyle is great (so I've heard). Birmingham is one of the top 10 places to have a great student lifestyle. The nightlife is really good - Broad Street is definitely the place to go.
How much does it cost to live in Birmingham?
Unsure. It depends on what you are looking for, on what your budget is.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Birmingham? Is there any advice you can give?
For a student it shouldn't be difficult.

Restaurants in central Birmingham are lovely. I like all types of food: Chinese, Jamaican, Italian, Indian, American, etc

Yes it is good and there is a variety of clubs on Broad Street.

To embrace it all and be open-minded about it. It has a lot of character.
