Why did you choose to go to Birmingham, United Kingdom?

I chose Birmingham because I wanted to speak English, but I didn't really knew the city before coming.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Being an erasmus, my scholarship is only during one year. I am not paying for the school, and I received an help from my previous school.

What is the student lifestyle like in Birmingham?

There is a lot of parties and activities organised for students, and international students.
For example, associations often proposed me to visit cities like Bath, Liverpool, Manchester ...

What is the food like?

There is not really good specialities here (except the scones), but you can find all you want in the supermakets.

How much does it cost to live in Birmingham?

I am spending more or less 400£ per month for my student accomodation (a flat shared with 5 people, but I have my own bathroom. 30min from my university). The life here is expensive.
Moreover, when I applied for the room, the landlord asked me to pay the whole year in once. SO it's important to prepare for that.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Birmingham from your city?

I am taking the plane each time because it's really practical. But it's also really expensive if I don't buy my ticket in advance.
