Why did you choose to go to Birmingham, United Kingdom?
It was the only place I could go to do my Erasmus so basically it was chosen for me.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Scholarship is for 4 months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Birmingham?
It’s great, a lot of university activities, many discounts and events.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Birmingham to other students?
I actually studied in Aston University in Birmingham so I cannot say much about other universities.
What is the food like?
Great! Supermarkets are relatively cheap and restaurants are fine as well.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Birmingham?
Nope, it was easy-peasy.
How much does it cost to live in Birmingham?
I spend around 700-900 euros per month including everything.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Local accent is a bit difficult but you will get used to it. Never visited language courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Birmingham from your city?
Bus! You get a bus pass for a term and here you go - you can go anywhere.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Birmingham?
Many places, for example Pryzm night club, Rosies or Players.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The Art Gallery, the Public Library and the Canals are nice!
