Strong scientific opportunities. Nice people. Really good experience. I have found Basque Country to be different from the rest of Spain. I highly recommend Bilbao as a place to get a new experience from the social and self-professional point of views.

This depends from the particular person. But be sure you will always find what you want.
How much does it cost to live in Bilbao?
Shared flat you can find in a price range of 250-500 euro.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bilbao? Is there any advice you can give?
No, it is not. In Bilbao a lot of international students are living every year. And you can always ask for help in the University.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is normal like in everywhere. Also you will find some special plates, which are common only in Basque Country.
What places would you recommend visiting in Bilbao?
A lot. Starting from the Guggenheim to the Plentzia beach.
Is it good to eat out in Bilbao? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Usually it is more expensive. But you have to try their traditional food. One of my favourite places here is a Pintxo-bar PIKATA.
Is the nightlife good in Bilbao? Where is good to go?
There is many night-clubs you can visit. Again it depends what you are looking for.
What advice would you give future students heading to Bilbao?
Buy a strong umbrella.
