What is it like to live in Bilbao? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Bilbao is a nice city to live because you have all the facilities so near such as the pubs, the city centeer, and so on, so I would recommend it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bilbao?

The lifestyle in Bilbao is relax. You have the sea so near from the city center and at the night from thursday to sunday you could go to pubs. For Erasmus students they organise many parties with other Erasmus students and they have fun.

How much does it cost to live in Bilbao?

Renting a flat in the city center is not so expensive but it is a bit difficult to find it, you can eat in a restaurant without paying more than 15 euros and the ticket for the disco costs more or less 10 euros but in some occasions you may not pay if you contat with PR before.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bilbao? Is there any advice you can give?

As looking for a flat is so difficult, I would recommend trying to start finding as soon as you know your destination and maybe before the arrival come to Bilbao a few days and visit them.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are many and good restaurants here. There are tipical places such as McDonalds or Burger King and also local restaurants.

What places would you recommend visiting in Bilbao?

I would recommend visiting the museums that are here, the "Ria de Bilbao" and Bilbao Port.

Furthermore, I usually practice swimming in the "Azkuna Zentroa" and play basketball.

As I have said before, there are many and good restaurants here and not so expensive and in many of them may offer discounts for Erasmus students.

Is the nightlife good in Bilbao? Where is good to go?

What advice would you give future students heading to Bilbao?

1. Look foor the flat as soon as they can.
2. Be open-minded and enjoy the experience.
