Why did you decide to go to Bilbao?

I was simply interested because it was a foreign city in which I could study, but I didn't expect it to be going this well.

How long does the Erasmus grant last? How much financial support did you receive?

In my case it will last ten months and so the support is sufficient.

What's the student life like in Bilbao?

Very warm and hospitable, they are always ready to help you if you have a question or a problem.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Bilbao to other students?

Of course!

What's the food like there?

If you can tolerate child peppers, good. No, just joking, the food is very good!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bilbao?

Really easy, the choices are very varied.

What are the living costs like in Bilbao?

The cost of living is more or less the same as Italy.

How is it going with the language there? Have you attended any courses at the university?

Following a course in my case has not been possible because of a clash between lectures and class hours, but it has not been difficult for me to communicate with others, thanks to similarities between the languages.

Whats the cheapest way to travel to Bilbao from your city?

I took an aeroplane with a stop in Barcelona.

What places would you recommend for going out in Bilbao during the evening?

Everyone has their own tastes, but the advantage of of the city of Bilbao, is the variety of bars that it offers.

And regarding eating out in Bilbao, can you tell us about your favourite places to eat?

To save money, I almost always cook at home, but in the case, the diversity of bars amongst restaurants and fast-food venues, allows for food that pleases everyones needs.

Are there some cultural sites to see?

The Guggenheim Museum and the Arte Eder Museum are the only two of the dozen visible places, but people show little interest for the others.

What advice would you give to future students of Bilbao?

Do not torment yourself with doubts. If you're committed and driven (and you like Spain), you will go there without hesitating!
