Why did you choose to go to Bilbao, Spain?
I'm in love with Spain since my first time here, like 8 years ago. So I chose to come back for a better experience this time.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My scholarship is for 3 months and I receive 500€ per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bilbao?
It is awesome. They have here a group for Erasmus "Happy Erasmus Bilbao". They are awesome and take care of our student lifestyle: parties, trips and many other cool stuff.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Bilbao to other students?
Yes, Universidad del País Vasco it was a good choice for me. The best experience of my life till now.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bilbao?
It was very hard. Happy Erasmus Bilbao helped me to find my accommodation. And also, they came to pick me up to the airport and then left me at the flat.
How much does it cost to live in Bilbao?
The money from Erasmus isn't enough. Maybe you will need 300€ per month for you, without the accommodation.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bilbao from your city?
By bus, but by plane is easier and faster.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bilbao?
Happy Erasmus Bilbao organized every nights on the weekend parties where you can go for free if you write your name on the free list.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bilbao in the future?
Make sure you have a flat before you get here.
