The cost of living in Berlin is in every way cheaper than in other European capitals.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Berlin? Any advice?

There's many websites that you can use to search for house or flat sharing like wggesucht.com. Also, you can find small ads for house mates and spare rooms at the university.

What is the food like in Berlin? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is quite varied and reflects the city's cosmopolitan quality, for example there's Turkish or Asian cuisine. The traditional German food is also very good.

What places do you recommend seeing in Berlin?

Kreuzberg, Mitte (where you can find Alexanderplatz, Brandenburger Tor and Potsdamer Platz), Museum Island, and the Dahlem area.

Any Imbiss (this is a German term for a small food stand or street food place) and any little Asian restaurants.

Where would you recommend to go out in Berlin?

Zu mir oder zu dir, Mein Haus am See and Suicide Circus. Katerholzig was good when I was there but it's now permanently closed.
