Why did you choose to go to Berlin, Germany?

Because in the fields of graphic design and art in general, this city is particularly interesting and enriching.

Moreover, a lot of people had told me a great deal about this city, I wanted to discover it by myself.

How long did you stay? How much money did you receive to help you?

I stayed for 3 months, and I got 800€ altogether.

What is the student lifestyle like in Berlin?

It is extremely cheerful, everybody wants to meet new people, and there's a sort of mutual aid between students.

Would you recommend the city and university of Berlin to other students?

Of course, it's a wonderful city and there's a lot of things to discover, surprising places to find out about.

It's an international city!

What is the food like in this country?

The local food is not very healthy, it depends on your budget.

Did you struggle to find an accomodation in Berlin?

Yes, as all the other people I know. It's very difficult.

How expensive is the life in Berlin?

It's relatively low, except for the cost of the metro, which is extremely expensive for a student.

It's easier to ride a bike to move around.

How is the learning of the German language? Did youy attend courses to learn it?

I did not get language courses, I learned by doing. If you don't know how to communicate as part of an internship, you can't do anything. It's the same for the everyday life.

What is the most economic way to go to Berlin from your city?

I don't know, maybe the bus, I went there by car.

What places would you recommend to party in Berlin?

Friedrichshain, it's a very lively area.

And to eat in Berlin? What are your favourite places?

The Liddle, it's unusual that students can afford to go to the restaurant, when they pay a rent and the metro.

I didn't have time to do these, I had a lot of work.

A piece of advice for students in Berlin?

Take your bike or your rollerblades, you might be able to go to a restaurant !
