What is it like to live in Berlin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city provides culture and art by day and the worlds best party life by night. The best: everything is 24/7. Transport, food and drinks. The city literally never sleeps. We also have so many parks and rivers so you don't feel too far from nature.

What is the student lifestyle like in Berlin?

There are many big universities with thousands of students so it's kind of anonymous, but Berlin students are really open-minded and love to connect. Also you get a lot of discounts.

How much does it cost to live in Berlin?

Living is expensive, space is rare. For a room in a shared apartment you should plan around 400 Euros, if you don't want to live far away from the center. Food and drinks are cheap, if you know where to go (non-touristic places).

You can always have fun for free.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Berlin? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, very hard. Maybe try student dorms but I have no experiences on that.

What is the food like? What are your favorite dishes?

Döner is the best! Also many Asian and Italian restaurants.

What places would you recommend visiting in Berlin?

Love the Monbijou park and area around (Museum Island! ) also the Ku’damm is nice for shopping and the area around government District with the holocaust Memorial is impressive, if you want to go to the wall: Mauerpark

Is the nightlife good in Berlin? Where is good to go?

Yes! You can go everywhere just not the Matrix (try to avoid touristic spots and 16+).

What advice would you give future students heading to Berlin?

Be open to connect with locals and try to go out as much as possible, you never regret experiencing Berlin.
