What is it like to live in Berlin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city has something to offer for everyone. You just have to decide what you are up to. There are plenty of sights and you can explore the city by bike, by boat, by foot. There are nice lakes in the city center in the so called Tiergarten if you want to relax you can take a boat there or you do a tourist tour on the Spree river. There are several party districts, bars and clubs.

There are a lot of students in Berlin. They are very open minded and help you with any question you have.

It always depends where you are coming from. For a big city Berlin is relatively cheap.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Berlin? Is there any advice you can give?

I think you can always find something for approximately 3 to 5 month. To rent a whole flat can be expensive. I would suggest to find a shared flat.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find every food from all over the world in Berlin. I really enjoy the diversity.

So I have a favorite dish in every Restaurant. If you want to try German food you have to go to Bavarian Restaurant. Tipical for Berlin is the Currywurst and Döner. This is more or less Streetfood. Curry 36 is famous for their Currywurst and for the best Döner everyone has the best Döner Location. Just ask your friends.

What places would you recommend visiting in Berlin?

I suggest you start with the city center and the district of Berlin Mitte. For shopping in little Boutiques and party you can visit the district of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. If you Stay longer than visit Potsdamas well. It is near Berlin and has a lot of castles to visit. Check out the bad and crazy history of Berlin. It is just unbelievable how destroyed the city was after WWII and then divided in two parts. There are tours and museums to see the Berlin Wall.

Berlin has Restaurants everywhere. Just check on Tripadvisor. You can find a lot of great food for every budget.

Is the nightlife good in Berlin? Where is good to go?

There are plenty of clubs in Berlin. And there are crossovers between Bar and club. I suggest you try the "Klunkerkranich" it is a casual and relaxed rooftop bar/club and you have a great view over the city.

Be open, connect with people and you will have a great time here. Explore the city and find you favorite spots. I promise there is something for everyone.
