Why did you choose to go to Berlin, Germany?

I chose Berlin because of studying purposes, I am PhD student and doing my doctoral research in Humboldt University of Berlin is an excellent opportunity for me to carry out successful research as Humboldt University has rich and diverse library of scientific literature.
Berlin is very interesting, nice and amazing city with a lot of opportunities.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have 6-month scholarship.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Berlin to other students?

Yes, definitely. Berlin is amazing city, along with excellent studying opportunities, it has the awesome historical buildings, beautiful nature and plenty of fun things to keep you entertained. Life is also cheap and public transport is great.

What is the food like?

Food is great in Berlin.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Berlin?

Finding an accommodation in Berlin is not an easy task. It took
a month and a half in my case. So one should start looking for the accommodation at least 1-2 months earlier before arrival.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available at Humboldt University. Unfortunately, I don't know the situation regarding this matter at other universities.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Berlin from your city?

Flight is the easiest way, as my city is quite far away from Berlin.
