Why did you choose to go to Berlin, Germany?

It was biggest mistake of my life to choose Germany, the culture is not ready to accept you at all as an outsider, it’s so frustrating as everything you need to able to understand in German from day 1, the German beaurocracy is total non-sense, too much paper work and everything is so complicated, starting from the banking to getting your residence permit

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

No scholarships, but due to my technical background and international technical sales experience of 8 years, I’ve managed to get an internship with pretty good salary as an intern with Swedish company in Sweden , I was receiving around SEK 26000 ( Euro 2600) and eventually before completing my studies, company applied for my blue card for Sweden and I moved to Sweden without completing my studies and I’ve been saved from been tortured from German bullshit

What is the student lifestyle like in Berlin?

It’s all labour work if you don’t speak German, even though you are a professional having vast experience in your field as an engineer

Would you recommend the city and the University of Berlin to other students?

Not at all
Rather I suggest them to go to fast growing and English speaking countries like Netherlands and Sweden

What is the food like?

Shittiest food

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Berlin?

Yes, a lot and Anmeldung sucks

How much does it cost to live in Berlin?

1000 euro

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Why should one speak German when they’re fluent in English? 60% of the world’s total GDP is coming from English speaking countries... I would suggest germans to learn and speak English instead

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Berlin from your city?

Plane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Berlin?

I don’t recommend any
