It is a big an lively city, full of attractions: cultural, social, scientific.Everything what is happening there attracts huge amount of people, so it is an easy way to find new friends.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I got scholarship for three months. it was enough to pay for the rent and partially for the food. if your living needs are not luxurious, 500 euros is enough.
What is the student lifestyle like in Berlin?
Timeless. full of events everyday. save your energy before going to Berlin. It never sleeps.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Berlin to other students?
Yes, I recommend to come to Berlin.
What is the food like?
German? awful, hot dogs, curry wurst... but there are lots of restaurants serving other countries cuisine.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Berlin?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Berlin?
700 euros per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
quite easy, but the problem is that everyone speaks in English, so there is no point to learn German.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Berlin from your city?
By bus.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Berlin?
Berghain
