Why did you choose to go to Berlin, Germany?
I chose to go to Berlin, as I could find job in my field there. I'm a graphic designer and Berlin is a very arty city. There's a lot of creative ppl and creative businesses there.

party, party and one more time party :)
Would you recommend the city and the University of Berlin to other students?
I definitelly recommend the city. Especially in Spring to Autumn season. There's a lot going on, many outdoor activities, parties, art events. Lots of parks, where you can spend lazy evenings siping cold beer or club mate.
What is the food like?
good and cheap. It's a matter of taste of course, but in Berlin you can find cuisine from around the world at affordable prices.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Berlin?
Yes, but it wasn't too expensive.
How much does it cost to live in Berlin?
depends on the standard. You can have a studio for as little as 300 € warm.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Berlin from your city?
you can get to Berlin from Lodz, or Poland in general with polskibus.com. It's fast and cheap.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Berlin?
Kreuzberg, Friedrichshein, Prenzlauerberg, Ostkreuz
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Berlin?
Kreuzberg! I love mexican place called Santa Maria on Oranienstraße 170
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Berlin in the future?
be aware of Berlin in winter. It can be pretty depressing. It's cold, gray, soggy and dirty. But in December Christmas markets brighten up the place.
