it is a small city really close to Milan. it is a quite place to study and get close to the real Italian traditions. You can reach everywhere by foot, but with Busses or trains you can go to Milan if you miss the caos of the Metropolis.
Bergamo is an ancient medieval city, in the middle of mountains and lakes. you will get really close to nature in you spend time here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bergamo?

If you are an erasmus you will easily get used to Bergamo lifestyle. because of its smallness, all the foreigners are able to meet the citizens without problems. thanks to the transports you can easily reach every place. in the town venter there are 5 or 6 supermarkets and is full of bars and pubs

How much does it cost to live in Bergamo?

it quite a expensive city even though is. not as expensive as Milan.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bergamo? Is there any advice you can give?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Italy is the land of food ands each region has its own dish. in Bergamo is really famous " polenta e uccelli". But also "stracciatella"ice-cream flavor was born here.

in the center everything is good. like Pizzeria Sant Orsola. Da Mimmo.

Is the nightlife good in Bergamo? Where is good to go?

for the nightlife is better to have a car and be able to move. there is only one disco in the center called CLASH

enjoy the time you will spent in this lovely city and the food you will taste!
