Belo Horizonte is the confluence of two worlds: the one of small towns and that of a modern city. At the same time you'll find the latest trends in any shopping mall you'll ask the street vendor to let you have that snack you'de like to have and pay later. It is a city with 2,475 millions (2010) inhabitants and considered one of the 10 greenest cities in South America. A beautiful horizont (!!), gorgeous surroundings, and close to our main historical cities: Ouro Preto, Mariana, Congonhas, Sabará, and some others. It is a paradise for foreigners as mineiros (natives of the State of Minas Gerais) are known as the most hospitable people of the country! You have to live it to know and won't be disappointed!
