Why did you choose to go to Belfast, United Kingdom?

I went to Belfast for a training in a booking agency. I spend 4 months here. Had a great time here.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received 3000€ for my 4 months training.

What is the student lifestyle like in Belfast?

Work, drink, smoke, work, drink, smoke...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Belfast to other students?

Yes, sure.

What is the food like?

Not very special and not very good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Belfast?

Pretty expensive, accommodation in Belfast are very old and wet...

How much does it cost to live in Belfast?

300£ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Didn't follow any languages courses, I was in training in a company.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Belfast from your city?

By flight or boat to federal republic of Ireland and then a bus from Dublin or other places.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Belfast?

old pubs and not fashion shity pubs with shity musics.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Belfast?

The Turkish burgers on Ormeau road near university street or whether spoon and when you're drunk the Chinese restaurant on Botanic avenue, not very delicious but very good to wake up at the end of parties.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

In Belfast: Lagan park, walls of belfast.

Other: Giant causeways, Mourne's mountains and Newcastle, Dublin and Temple Bar, Galway, Athlone...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Belfast in the future?

In the street or pubs, be careful to don't talk about religion, politic and troubles in NI, not every people in Belfast are ok about that.
