living in Beirut is the best experience ever. people are very easy going and helpful. people like to have fun and enjoy their time. they spend most of their money on dinners and clubbing. you will never get bored. they have the top clothes brands, since people like to dress perfectly and take care of their image.

What is the student lifestyle like in Beirut?

All students who studied in Lebanon had the best times of their lives. people are very easy going and helpful. The city is small so you never get lost. Places are 5 mins away from each other. The 2 top ranked universities are located in beirut (AUB and LAU) they are highly recommended.

How much does it cost to live in Beirut?

lebanese people go out everyday, and during weekends they go clubbing. they like to enjoy life and have dinner in restaurants. you need like 1600$ per month including the apartment.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Beirut? Is there any advice you can give?

there are many hotels and apartments available in every area. many people like to rent apartments in hamra because all shops, first rank university, coffee shops, and pubs are available there all next to each other.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

all types of cuisines are available, however my favorite is lebanese and french food. i love hommos and fattoush.

What places would you recommend visiting in Beirut?

baalback, Byblos, Tyre, harissa in jounieh, Broumana, Batroun, faraya (there are resorts for skiing) , zeitunay bay.

Is it good to eat out in Beirut? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

excellent food especially lebanese and armenian food. there are many good places such as leila, babel, karam el baher, fakhreddine in broumana, al balad...

Is the nightlife good in Beirut? Where is good to go?

excellent nightlife. there are many famous clubs such as skybar, white, music hall, pier 7,mandaloun, life etc...

What advice would you give future students heading to Beirut?

Beirut is full if LIFE! you will have the best experience ever
