What is it like to live in Beirut? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Beirut is an amazing experience that every person should go through in their lives. The city is alive, the people are warm and welcoming, always ready to have fun and enjoy life to the fullest.

What is the student lifestyle like in Beirut?

Student life is great, between the nightlife, the restaurants and the love to always go out.

How much does it cost to live in Beirut?

It all depends on the lifestyle. But anyone can afford a life there.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Beirut? Is there any advice you can give?

Cabs are a big thing in Lebanon, and Uber is available. Almost everyone has a car. Public transportation is limited to buses but the whole infrastructure isn't very organized and is a bit chaotic. Renting a car or taking cabs is usually necessary.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The city is full of all types of restaurants: from little snacks that open 24/7, to traditional lebanese restaurants, gourmet mediterranean, sushi, indian, fusion...

What places would you recommend visiting in Beirut?

Start by the pubs and ask around, you will probably make friends who will show you around.

Is it good to eat out in Beirut? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Food for everyone at any time. If you are hungry after a long night of partying Zaatar w Zeit is a great choice open 24/7. Baron is a mediterranean restaurant in Mar Mikhael that has delicious food.

Is the nightlife good in Beirut? Where is good to go?

The best in the Middle East. Probably the best in the world.
Garten, Uberhaus, B018, Ahm, Iris are part of the best. Don't forget to check out the pubs in the Mar Mikhael and Badaro streets.

What advice would you give future students heading to Beirut?

Beirut is the perfect city for vacation. Imagine living there as a student. You'll have the time of your life.
