Beirut is a small city, so one can reach any destination with a short time, but depending on the period of the day, there would be high traffic.

What is the student lifestyle like in Beirut?

Beirut accommodates many universities, and the students constitute a considerable sector of the society. However, a student is like any other resident, which means there are no special benefits.

How much does it cost to live in Beirut?

As an average, one should spend around $1000 per month, including accommodation and utilities.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Beirut? Is there any advice you can give?

Since Beirut is small in size, and the size of the population is big, it could be hard to find accommodation in a reasonable price. However, it depends on the zones; the luxurious towns are very expensive, but the residential ones are affordable.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Beirut is close to that in all the Mediterranean countries. It mainly consists of rice, meat, poultry, etc. Also, one can find I Beirut special types of delicious dessert.

What places would you recommend visiting in Beirut?

Many people in Beirut spend their night time on the seaside especially in the summer. Also, Beirut is full of restaurants in all the regions, and there are some malls.

Beirut is distinguished by its food. Eating out in this city is greatly recommended. There are well known international restaurants and small family owned snacks.

Is the nightlife good in Beirut? Where is good to go?

Lebanese people like spending their night outside. There are many places to do so like hanging out with friends on the seafront, having parties, karaoke, etc.

What advice would you give future students heading to Beirut?

I advice future students heading to Beirut to avoid living and buying their needs from the expensive towns. In addition, choose a region that is a bit quiet because the crowded areas, which are many in Beirut, are not suitable for a student in terms of the noise and the time needed for transportation.
