When you think of Thailand, the first thing that probably comes into your mind is the heat, the exotic atmosphere, the temples, good parties, adorable people etc. Bangkok has all of that and you may be so thrilled and finish all of the things quicker than you imagined. So once you have done all of it, you may just want to chill. But why to do so, when there is another number of things you have missed because they are not so touristy and famous.
One of them is The Husky Café. You may wonder: Huskies in Thailand? How is that possible? I had the same doubts. I got tired of roaming around Bangkok and its shopping malls and decided to check out the place. Again, like I mentioned in some of my previous posts, head out early. They have two sessions per day and they sell out quite quickly. Our session was starting at 12pm and we left our hotel at Silom around 11:10 and there was already a queue of people waiting. We were lucky and got in unlike some people that literally came 10 minutes after us. The entry fee is around 500 THB.
You get one free drink and a slice of cake of your choice. Mine was delicious and I was ready for a Play session with the doggos. They do a presentation of how to interact with the dogs before letting you out in the yard. Given the humid and hot environment, these dogs have special dietary requirements that help in cooling down their body temperature. Believe me or not, they eat ice, fruits, ice cream apart from their standard dog food and they are really well nourished. Their fur is rich and soft. There are around 15 dogs which are all adorable and well trained. They are excellent posers as well as you may see from some of the pictures attached.
I enjoyed that place a lot and again, if you run out of ideas of what to do in Bangkok, please visit this place. You will not regret it and you will leave with lots of love from these amazing dogs.
