For me, Bamberg is a good place to spend a semestre, but it's too small to spend a year there. The people are pretty friendly, in general. The prices are more or less the same as in Spain. The food there is good, but nowhere near as good as Spanish food.
The parties aren't that amazing, you always just go to the same places and you end up getting sick of them, but luckily Nuremberg is pretty nearby. The transport is pretty good, the problems is that it's pretty expensive to get around. Well guys, if you have any worries, I'll try and help you out.
Good luck and have a fantastic year, I would change the year I had for the world!
