Baku is the mixture of history and modernity. However Art has been evolving recently here. İf you are interested in architecture, baku can be a good city to travel to.

What is the student lifestyle like in Baku?

Frankly speaking, during my bachelor degree in baku I didn't enjoy student lifestyle. Either student life is very boring here or there is a problem with me. Maybe I am boring who knows)

How much does it cost to live in Baku?

Baku is one of the cheapest countries in the world. First of all transport is very cheap here which is really beneficial for international students. On the other hand food prices here are much lower that those in other countries.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Baku? Is there any advice you can give?

İt is so difficult to find accommodation for students in baku. However, if you are married and came here for job opportunities you will find a place very easily.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Well, food in azerbaijan is very different than other couisines. Frankly speaking, our dishes are very greasy and fattening. But people here find them delicious. However there are lots of international restaurants in baku. For example, İtalian food is very common here. However, İf you like turkish food baku is perfect for you.

What places would you recommend visiting in Baku?

Mainly Maiden Tower, Shirvanshah Palace and İcharishahar
