Baku is my native city that I studied there for 3 years. As it is the capital city you can find what you want there.
What is the student lifestyle like in Baku?
Now I study in Venice. I cannot say that the student lifestyle is the same as Venice. But there is such kind of hospitality and kindness that you cannot forget about Azeri people. Always people try to help foreigners. There is a scheduled timetable in most state universities.
How much does it cost to live in Baku?
Baku is a cheap city, I mean finding a good accommodation, food, exactly transport. Metro is 0. 20 copek that it is 7 euro in Venice. Some technology applications would be expensive. If you want to visit other big Azerbaijan cities the transportation fees are soo cheap.

It is not difficult, you can stay in both dormitory and private flat. I recommend a private one, because they are cheaper. If you want to stay at one private flat with good condition it is max 200 euro.

In spite of the fact Baku is the Muslim city, you can find all things, exactly beers are cheap in Baku.

National Park (Boulevard), Old City ( Icherisheher), Caspian Sea's beaches, Maiden Tower and so on.
