What is it like to live in Baku? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Baku is genuinly beautiful city with the cobination of ancient and modern architecture. The one who goes deffinetly has to visit icheri Shahar streets like small Italy:) and you had better have a walk by the sea called bulvar at night, the vibrant shade of lights will mesmerize you, try kabab ,lule and gutab really delicious.

What is the student lifestyle like in Baku?

As it is young city,also means great place for young and night clubs and montlu shisha clubs, at night to such places better have a male partner, or some couples .

How much does it cost to live in Baku?

Baku is also called little Duabi, so is not so much cheap to live especially for students, but in surburbs or villages of Azwrbaija price is reasanable

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Baku? Is there any advice you can give?

About accomodation ,right now must be easy especially for students,the öner of the house is away and look for tenants,the owners do not live with the tenants in Baku( mostly) just need to find familiar face whom they can trust.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

All kind of kababs like barbeuce but really much tastier(fish ,chicken ,beaf,lüle kabab),gutab,dolma ,plov with chicken,meat and greene.Delight: shekwrbura,bakhlava which is tataly diffierent from Turkish.

What places would you recommend visiting in Baku?

Giz Galasi, Targoviy-Main Square of Baku Flarmonia ,Yanar Dağ is a bit away from Baku which means burning mountains,Icheri shahar,Shirvanshahlar Pala close to Icheri shahar, Gobustan is also away from Baku ancient people's place and you will be able to see the stones kind of musical instruments, you can play and you will hear how intersting they sound.Bulvar National Park, there is a Tennis court , and beaches of course Novxanı, Bilgah but if you wanna pool ,so Narsharab is really awsome the level of service and food is awsome and deffinetly try fish there.

Is it good to eat out in Baku? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, the restaurant and cafés service really tasty food, lime Cafe City , Pizza Hat, and in icheri shahar when you walk through these streets you will see ma y cafés with national food.

Is the nightlife good in Baku? Where is good to go?

I am not actually night person, however there must be some in Targoviy which means main Square and

What advice would you give future students heading to Baku?

Try to be friendly ,as Azerbaijani really are ,and really hospitable,but Try to do shopping not in the city center, there are numerous hipermarkets for food shopping like Bravo cheap and nice place mostly inside Malls,like Ganjlik Mall.
