What was it like to live in Annecy? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Annecy is amazing! The living environment is perfect. You can go into town, go shopping, eat in nice restaurants and then go to the beach, cycle or take a walk! It’s a lively town and there are lots of tourists as it’s a great town for architecture and landscapes!

What is the cost of living in Annecy?

It’s quite high regardless... but it’s still an amazing town that is well connected by public transport and there are plenty of nice shops, both modern and vintage, and most importantly you'll eat very well there!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Annecy? Do you have any advice to give?

I have no idea, you can find some nice places that are affordable but there are also expensive properties… there’s a bit of everything!

What is the food like in your city? What are your favorite dishes?

In Annecy, you can easily eat tartiflette, raclette, and specialties other than sushi or various other dishes! There are plenty of little restaurants that offer really nice things for students!

What places would you recommend seeing in Annecy?

• The Courier shopping center and the main town for shopping
• Annecy-le-Vieux, for the scenery
• The lake! For swimming and sunbathing!

In short… visit the whole town.

For coffee, a cappuccino, soup, a smoothie or other juices, there’s Pedro in the pedestrian street, plus the waiter is very nice! There are also Nutella paninis in the bakeries in the pedestrian street which are excellent!
