Staying in Ancona was really rewarding for me. This is a small city, but it's charming. It isn't a city with many places to go out, in contrast with the cities of the South of Spain. However, this city is delightful, cosy, and it's a pleasure to stay here 10 months as an erasmus student. The experience of being an erasmus just worth it. I'd pay to do it! But if you are even paid... It's one of the best things in the EU!!! 100% recommendable!
