What is it like to live in Amman? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

it is like living in Paris; not because of the landscape and the views you will see, but because of the high expensive level of living, and actually for the people who looking for the generosity and good way of dealing, yes i recommend them to live in Amman, but for the people who are looking for THE beautiful views, gorgeous landscape, and low living cost, no i don't recommend.

What is the student lifestyle like in Amman?

it is a bad lifestyle...they are most of them just care about how to talk to girls, and the girls just want to appear them self a princesses...care about where to go every day to have fun with each other without care about the university and how to achieve the materials...specially the boys(not men because their thinking way and their concerns does exceed the limit of the childhood) who just looking for the girls to have fun with them, and the girls(not women...they didn't reach the limit of adulthood for the same reason )who go to the university just for having fun with the boys and looking for some one to marry... this is the lifestyle of the most of student her in Jordan not just in Amman, but not the all.

How much does it cost to live in Amman?

actually it depends on the region that the student will live in, but in general the range is between 500&1000 $ and may be more because it also depend on the student's life style.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Amman? Is there any advice you can give?

actually not so difficult, but expensive some how.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

the student can find any kind of food in Amman, starting in the eastern food; like all kinds of Arabic,Chinese,and Indian dishes, ending with the American and European dishes. and that because of the large numbers of the restaurants in Amman.

What places would you recommend visiting in Amman?

THE best place that the tourists or the students in general that can visit is THE ROMAN AMPHITHEATER in the city center, AL QASR AL OMAWI,HASHEM RESTAURANT, AND THE ROYAL AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM.

Is it good to eat out in Amman? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Actually i don't recommend to eat in any restaurant IN AMMAN unless the famous ones which are known publicly in the region.

Is the nightlife good in Amman? Where is good to go?

in general yes, and the best place to go in the night is the cafes, public parks,malls ( the giant markets , and the shops.

What advice would you give future students heading to Amman?

actually at the moment there are no ideas crossing my mind, but all what i can say now just stay away about the Arab people.
