What is the student lifestyle like in Almeria?

People at University normally go to "cuatro calles" on Thursdays, but you can also go on Fridays and Saturdays. It depends on the date and how much people there are. There are many pubs you can chose to spend the night with your friends. Each pub is different thinking about different people, so there are a lot of them.

How much does it cost to live in Almeria?

Well, Almería is a cheap city. You can find many options on internet. You can find appartments from 350-400 euros more or less.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Almeria? Is there any advice you can give?

It isn´t difficult, there are many webpages from Internet and they could help you. But I recommend to go there and choose one because it is better. If you are a student, the group ESN helps you to rent a flat.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I am Spanish and, for me, the mediterranean food is the best. I like all the dishes but here in Almería for example it is very common to eat "tapas": a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine. Here is a link with some places you can have tapas and live this experience:
