Why did you choose to go to Almeria, Spain?
The city looked really nice, I loved the idea of living by the sea and the weather was supposed to be amazing, the university seemed good too.
What is the student lifestyle like in Almeria?
The ESN organizes a lot of trips, events and parties so if your an erasmus you have the chance to take part to all of these things which are a lot of fun! you have the chance to travel a lot, to enjoy the beach even during the winter cause the weather is always very nice
Would you recommend the city and the University of Almeria to other students?
yes, even though the university is a little disorganized sometimes
What is the food like?
the food is good and VERY cheap!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Almeria?
yes, I found my flat with an agency
How much does it cost to live in Almeria?
it costs less than any other city in Spain I think, it's very cheap
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
yes, there are many language courses both at the University both organized from associations outside the uni
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Almeria from your city?
by plane, from Milan Malpensa
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Almeria?
There are few good clubs but most of the eramsus always go to la clasica or to la national which
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Almeria?
La consentida, la marquesina, tito's
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
the alcazaba and the cathedral are the best sites to visite for sure
