Almeria is a very nice but very small city. The city centre is really nice and the promenade by the beach is a lovely place to go for a walk.

What is the student lifestyle like in Almería?

Student lifestyle is very relaxed.

How much does it cost to live in Almería?

It is very cheap. Choose the right supermarkets and your weekly shop will be very cheap. If you want a beer or glass of wine, it comes with tapas. Very cheap!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Almería? Is there any advice you can give?

Look on Facebook or go to the Erasmus office at the university where you can get help. Look at as many different places as possible and don't rush into your decision.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Fruits and vegetables in the supermarket are really cheap so it is easy to eat healthily. Tapas here is amazing and really cheap. I recommend chipirones at Cabana Tio Tom

What places would you recommend visiting in Almería?

Alcazaba is a must see.

Is the nightlife good in Almería? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is good in Almeria but lots of people always go to the same places; Cuatro Calles and La Clasica are very popular.

What advice would you give future students heading to Almería?

Make sure you travel outside of Almeria to see different Spanish cities.
